How much does a tutoring session on TuLi cost?
Students set their fee range from $15-$60 per hour when they are posting a request. TuLi sessions must be a minimum of 30 minutes, but can be set to as long as the student sets for the request. The total cost will depend on the length of the session, and the rate of the tutor.
Are the tutors qualified?
All tutors have a proven record of academic excellence and have aced the classes they are eligible to tutor in. All TuLi tutors attend the same university as the student and are knowledge on the exact courses they tutor. Students also give feedback after each session, meaning our tutors are continuously reviewed, to ensure only the best and most qualified tutors are on TuLi.
In which courses can I receive help?


For each school where TuLi is available, students have the ability to select any undergraduate or graduate level course for a session. However, the supply of tutors for each course depends entirely on how many tutors have signed up.
- If I like a tutor, is there a way for me to request them again?


After a session, a student is immediately offered the option to schedule a session again with a tutor, and you can pull up your tutors profile right from your past sessions. We also have a “Favorites” function that allows students to save their favorite tutors and request them directly for future sessions. If selected, a request will be sent directly to that tutor(s). If the tutor is not available, the student will be notified, and the request can become available for other tutors to accept.

- If I’m a tutor, how do I set my availability?


Tutors can set their availability by either entering regular times in a week they are available when they sign-up or by going to edit profile and adjusting your availability at any time.
- How do payments work?


Payments are taken care of within the TuLi application through Braintree, a payment processor trusted by thousands of companies. The first time you use TuLi, you will be prompted to enter your credit card or bank account information during the sign-up process. After each session, the transaction will be processed automatically, and an email receipt will be sent to you. We know cash transactions with your peers can be tricky and awkward, for both the student and the tutor, so the payment process has been made seamless so you can focus on your work. Students never have to worry about bringing cash with them, and tutors can forget about trying to collect cash or remembering to bring change.
